What to Expect From the New Xbox Series S

Hello, everybody and welcome to this post in my blog. As the title says, we are going to discuss the specs of the upcoming Xbox Series X. The Xbox Series S is a cheaper equivalent than the Series X, but it packs a punch! While it is lacking compared to the Series X, it gives you way more than it's value.

Price: The price is $300. While this may seem expensive, this is really cheap for a gaming console.

CPU: The central processing unit (or CPU) is an 8-core Zen 2 AMD processor with a speed of 3.6 GHz. This means that has 8 central processing chips. These chips are used to do math to do everything that a game console does. It is also faster than an average laptop.

GPU: The graphics processing unit (or GPU) is a RDNA 2 GPU with 20 cores and a speed of 1.5 GHz. This means that is is very fast. These chips are to help calculate the graphics part of the display. Something interesting is that this GPU isn't even out yet, so it will be brand new.

RAM: The console has a total RAM of 10 GB. The speed for that RAM is 224 GB/s. Some of that RAM is taken up, so when more than 8 GB of RAM is used to play a game, the speed will go down to 56 GB/s.

Screen: It will have a resolution 1440p and have a framerate of 120 fps. This means that it will be in HD and video will look very smooth.

Storage: It has an internal storage of 512 GB and expandable memory of 1 TB. For a comparison, this total of 1.5 TB can hold up to 15 sperate open world games.

Size: It's 10.8 inches tall, 5.9 inches deep, and 2.5 inches wide. This is very small compared to other consoles.

Disc: The reason the console is no small is because it doesn't have a disc. It is completely digital. When you want to play a game, you download it from the internet.

That's it! This console is a very small, compact console that is very fast and can do HD gaming. I hope you liked and enjoyed this post. Please comment if you have any suggestions in the future.
